Stroker Motorsports Off to an Impressive Start in 2008

The Stroker Motorsports team has their 2008 season off the ground and running despite several rain-outs and close calls with the extremely wet conditions for the start of the season.  The team generated a significant horsepower gain during the off season and that has proven to be a real challenge to get all of that power “hooked up” on the track especially considering the less than ideal track conditions for the start of the season.

They have had to change up the tire designs and modify the clutch set up to compensate for the changes in performance and track conditions.  To date they don’t have the set up entirely figured out but are working on it.  “We have these issues at the start of any season when we’ve made changes of this magnitude this time it is just taking longer than normal to work out the set up.” said Driver Dustin Ridder.

Despite the the apparent challenges the results have still been pretty fair finishing in the top 5 in 6 of 8 events and having 3 2nd place finishes.
